So far this book has been great and it truly makes you think about the dangers of hanging around the wrong people, drugs, and alcohol. I don't think that Johns's mom handled him well because she just sent him off and didn't ask how he was feeling. I think later on John going to act out and run away because he's making friends with another rebel Maria. Plus I love how it includes older music.
