I think it’s interesting how some people only learn to fight standing up. Wrath’s father learning to fight shows how old-fashioned that is- they didn’t have/know mixed martial arts where you “pass the guard”, etc.

Loved the scene of unborn baby Wrath telling his mom to go back to her husband when she almost died of poison. So many great details. I forgot about Wrath going nutz and breaking everything in the billiards room but I loved how Wrath spoke to the workers, helped one out, and how he saw that worker later- so sweet.

I didn’t remember Assail having sex with Sola before she leaves. I do remember her cutting the attacker’s hand off. That whole scene was so hard to read again knowing horrible stuff would happen- I forgot how bad it got but she did survive. I love Assail’s cousins and how they already love the grandmother. I forgot that Selena was so close to going stiff and she didn’t tell Trez/anyone sooner.
