Finished chapter 15! It was really interesting. I’ve always wondered about how we Muslims should react to the “spiritual but not religious” movement. This book gave a lot of insight about that. But I still prefer the chapter about the theory of evolution, just cuz I’m a sucker for biology!

This chapter is probably my favorite. It talks about Charles Darwin’s theory of evolution by natural selection and biology in general. I also liked the chapter before it, the one that talked about physics and theories of how the universe was created. It’s so coooool ✨

I really loved the chapter about the Islamic golden age. I always knew that it was the Islamic world that introduced a lot of knowledge into the world, but I didn’t know that it was also responsible for the spread of knowledge everywhere!! European countries need to credit the Middle East for many of their discoveries. In knowing this, it’s clear that knowledge truly came from Allah (SWT). How cool!

The out of body experience part was really interesting. Overall, I would like to see more of the science part though.

The first Imam’s answer to the question about free will? wHOA. My mind was blown. I’m definitely gonna do the same thing the next time someone asks me about free will.

I love it!! For every argument he poses, he has a piece of evidence to go with it. His logical way of thinking is very easy to follow. Amazing so far!

Love it!! I love the logical arguments presented, it gives so much clarity to my beliefs. Sometimes the sentences are a bit awkward, and I’ve already found a typo, but what can ya do, it’s the limitations of the English language. Doesn’t really hinder my reading, cuz I understand what the author means. Highly recommend!!
