Ending was somewhat weak in comparison to the rest of the book. It felt too perfect and too predictable, but satisfying nonetheless.

Noes! The shame dance of "I want to be with you but only if no one can see us." Poor Edward. That's gotta confuse the self-esteem.

"Edward had been in love too many times to count, but none of the men he’d fallen for had ever loved him back. And if a bunch of bad boys and twinks hadn’t loved him, what made him think a remarkable man like Jack Whittaker would? No. Jack would leave and never look back, like everyone else." Ah, self-depreciation, you make my heart clench when I've committed fully to the character.

(I sure am interested in her four secondary characters, which have their own stories.)

I know it's a story dun right when I'm checking the page count and thinking, oh god, slow down and reread some of those sensational scenes because the end is nigh! And I don't want it! Not yet! But then again, it's all part of good story-telling: dishing it out in bits, knowing when to end. I have a feeling Lorenz is gonna make me want more of her tales....

I should be doing other things; I have a to-do list of errands and cleaning tasks and exercises and all those "living" thing we all have to do, but I can't put this book down! I'm living it! It's intense, so heated! So... I wanna know what these crazy boys are gonna explode into next!
