Opinions so far: Nesta is growing on me (a lot?). highly unexpected. Her character development is quite something. However idk if I needed this book? I am over the halfway point and the plot is moving very slowly. It's very character driven. Hope it gets moving a more in the second half (but I doubt it?) Also, spoiler, but it seems we are on the cusp of war once again and THESE PEOPLE HAVE HAD ENOUGH PAIN, SO WHYYY?!

I couldn't agree more. It feels great to read a new Sarah J. Maas book, it's lovely to be back in this world, but the plot... We'll see what will happen now... Spoiler part: They certainly have been through enough pain already, so indeed WHY??!!
