To be honest the detective was getting on my nerves a bit - very self-centered. So I kind of silently saluted Dr. Magic for him letting the detective know who was exactly in charge. ... However given my fear of heights I felt the detective's panic as well ...

Yes, I am slowly reading this one. It's still pretty interesting ... Sort of almost feels like Patient Zero / Gone Baby Gone - but I think that's because they all talk about detective-like people ...
