A very rough translation to understand the meaning:

I see and can't utter a word,
Neither I can show you my heart.
What I saw, what I felt
I expressed to you
Only with my deep sighing.

In the previous stanza he talks about the blue girl's eyes that are compared with a drowned sky and he sees himself sunk in those eyes as well. That's why he can't speak only feel...

All too accurate depiction of this state of being, as far as I can tell from the several translations I've read and especially yours, Edita :)
