An interesting book that covers the stories of fictionalized characters as they navigate through the historical events from the Spanish Inquisition through to and including the gun powder plot to blow up the houses of Parliament.
As you would imagine the book covers a number of subjects, especially freedom of religion as Triumph and Catastrophes occur throughout the book.
It's a hard read but a satisfying one.
