I don’t really understand why Ani is lying to Niamh. The truth would serve her well here - she’s making progress, developing contacts. It’s not clear what she thinks she ought to have achieved instead. I’m having to ascribe a lot to her new conditioning interfering with her logic / common sense.

Just getting started. There's enough to hold my interest so far, but it has some work to do - it's well executed but feels more YA than I expected.
