I am still excited about this book and the ideas it opens up, maybe for my own research. I was curious to read a review of the first edition that criticised the focus on 19th century thinkers like Ruskin, and I have just finished the section on Ruskin. As I don’t know about his work, I thought it is quite interesting, but I’m worried about the lack of female voices.
