This was a very interesting read. I was always entranced by Van Gohs work as my grandmother had several of his prints up in her home. To read all that was going on in his tortured life was a bit heartbreaking. His work and the feelings that his paintings elicit from his viewers speak for itself. Truly a talented artist. I enjoyed this book, simple yet poignant.
