Epilogue 2!!!! ...... Okay, wasn' t sure there, in the middle, right when book 2 ended, and book 3 started - the blood sport to thin the ranks seemed like gratuitous horror - but it moved past that, and got good.

book 2, The Leadership, is done. Book 3, The War, is left. Of course, you're supposed to hate Tiberius, and be sad at Mayor Sam Lucas' assassination, and I do, and I am, but both characters might be a little too much the prototypes of good and wise and admirable on the one hand, and power hungry dictator, on the other hand.

Done book 1 of 3, in Omnibus edition. The Event. The Leadership is next. I wasn't too sure at first, about the book. The sentences seemed so flat, sort of. Maybe due to the perspective, and dialogue, being that of teen boys? ;-) But I admit, I'm hooked. I want to know what caused The Event, and where they are, did the Island move, or is the continent somehow obliterated, but the island survives? (Impossible!!! lol)
