I love how the author gives us background information on LGBTQ+ life in New York during this time. I have learned a lot about that time period about the AIDS and HIV epidemic (the first case being reported June 1981). I continue to love how this author the author has not revealed the murderer yet. That just ruins the book because I want to deduce who the murderer is.
