The time shifts can be a little off-putting as the transitions do not always come at the best times. I feel with some flashes we see, readers are more informed than the characters (I'm assuming by design). One part of the journey seems completed but it lead into another, I can't help but wonder why they included it at all.

Is this a movie yet? I feel it should be.
