History does seem horrible with all the famines, painful punishments and battles.
I find the timelines especially useful in this book. Once I finish it, I’ll just go through the dates.
I started reading this to get an idea about how British history’s events followed each other. It is a great book for that!

It’s quite informative. I’m a grown-up, but I’m learning a lot from this book. I’m planning to memorise the dates included, because general knowledge is important.
