Bell Hooks has changed my perspective on how I think about and wish to receive love. It’s not an overnight change considering the societal norms. But because I know how to retain info with an open heart, I’m very hopeful that those who I come into contact with once I’m finished reading, will start to see and innerstand what the definition of love is based on a communal moral ethic. Not a self righteous one
