i get why even is weary of getting his mark because when his sister got hers she "died". Also he has heard peole follow him, saw faces in the window and found a can in a tree attached to a string that led to his room so he could here anything in his room. So i wonder what he will do in the weeks before his mark and will he get his mark, join the markless outcast or become a flunkee and disapear/die like his sister?
