'So, Brittany, what do you read for fun?" "Oh fantasy, mystery, Marxist books about the police..." (I'd love to know how Marxists would explain the insane policing in communist (not the same as socialism but it derived from it going wrong) states since it's harder to just say capitalism for that.

Think this will be good for how I represent the police in my novels, even if I'm skeptical of the interpretation. Some of the tables don't show what they think they show, and who alphabetizes data in a table anyway?!
