Pretty pleasant workdays when doing ELPAC testing. There's a happy medium: don't have me do a teacher's full day of work (esp a SPED teacher's) b/c I don't get paid like that...but don't have me do entirely nothing b/c I fret over whether or not I'm regarded as necessary, or useful. Not as quick a read as I anticipated but it's informative enough. Still studying the Linguistic/Language/Reading/Writing part of CSET. It is two weeks' of material, not one. Constructed response practice continues, timing 10 minutes. Also vids. Overall, I'm slightly over-prepping, there is only a portion of the test that deals with this stuff, but it's all been very interesting, & it's a weak spot, so it's worth it.

Depressing, heavy info, defeated. What can folks do against the might of Monsanto? Industry's power over academia, its influence in courtrooms, in panels, etc.

Not as bad as some reviews have concluded. Sure, more details can enrich the book (footnotes) but I appreciate the summing up of points, and the casual flow of writing. She's just speaking. It's not a powerhouse essay or an exhaustive presentation.

Not a long book, written in a pretty easy script, looking forward to filling my head with real facts around science & tech, despairing of the news, how 1/2 of adults see no issue with getting vaccinated for a virus that has less than 1/2% of hurting me, this world don't make sense to me dude
