free will and determinism: this is such a fascinating discussion to me. there are so many different sides to take and all of them seem to have valid points. it seems that humans still dont have a universal theory of morality and free will, and when you consider things like our retributive justice system, which is mostly based on the idea that the people have acted immorally, that seems to be an, uh, issue
