So far I really like this book I thought it’s a love story but it’s actually quite more complex than that You get the “my big fat Greek wedding” vibe without all the comedy and more drama You really feel for the two main characters (A mother and son at different times in their life) And how family isn’t family if you’re married into it

I enjoy learning about Ilona and Cadamus and then towards the end we have the narrator Delphina who is Cadamus’s niece (I’m pretty sure cus Ainsly is her mother) and how much a like she is to her grandmother than her own mother It’s brilliant how the author is able to trandscend different timelines and intertwine the diff characters and how in the end they all have a story in their family history
