Sorry to say I'm not enjoying this one. I don't like the romantic pairing or the instalove. I don't like the surprise that's so not a surprise. Don't think I'll read these Lean Dog Legacy books. Maybe just finish up the main series with Shaman and Homecoming? Least this one is relatively short so I can just finish it up and move on. Bummer.

Gasp! lolI will admit that it's crossed my mind. I am usually ok being a total quitter when it comes to books I don't enjoy. Maybe you're right and I should bail without undue remorse!
It took me years, but I now can DNF a book without feeling guilty about it. 😅
