In junior high I had world history and American history classes. The lessons focused on wars, slavery, civil rights, and the effects of FDR's policies. High school was much the same. I didn't get lessons on women's history or what it took to win the right to not only be a citizen but to vote. I feel I missed out on a lot. I'm making up for lost time reading these biographies.

There's about 225 pages but the text is almost fine print. Why do they print in such small text?
