I got to the end. New adult, young adult always frustrate me. I mean this is a new brand of supernaturals. And the world building is... OK. Her being in the dark and being fed bits & piece of who & what she is? Sort of cliffhanger ending. I know all the players but the end goal is a bit murky. Think I'll start the 2nd book now rather than later.

Why do I do this to myself? Young adult. Very young at that. And so slow to gett to the point of it all. Add in the Egyptian gods. Yes I'm just hanging in and wondering when the interesting part starts.
