Welp, looks like I gotta put this one on hold until another (expensive as hell) copy arrives in the mail. Someone saw fit to tear pages out for some reason. Maybe they ran out of toilet paper. I wish used bookstores would inspect the books they're buying more thoroughly. Then again, I should have done the same. Digging it so far, even if I'm not exactly sure what the shit is happening.

Philipp I'm guessing it's not the first edition? ;)

pricey!

Jack Tripper I know I said expensive, but not THAT expensive. But even the 1959 edition goes for waayy more than I usually spend on a mass-market. I ordered the cheapest copy I could find, I'm just hoping it doesn't look like ass.

Mir Ugh, sorry. If this happens again, I've usually found someone on goodreads willing to photocopy or scan the pages for me.

Thanks for the tip. I also just noticed that it's being reissued pretty soon, so I could have just waited. But I'm bad at that. When I'm in the mood for a certain book, I need it now!

Zach "American expat name of Charles Dograr is tricked into firing a laser death ray." - that's a hell of a start to a synopsis
