Loving the stories - I remember them from the 3rd grade (about 68 or 69 years ago) I remember Little Joe Otter and his slippery mud slide. I didn't remember the racist overtones of Mr. Buzzard and Mr. Possum, although there didn't seem to be any discrimination.
