Hans Walter Wolff was a German OT scholar; published in 1974. The author attempts to explain the meaning of Old Testament era language - written almost exclusively in old Hebrew anthropology language - to today's English reader, I.e. what did the word "heart" mean to a person living B.C.E.? Wolff breaks the topic into three sections: 1. The being of a person, 2. The Time of a person, 3. The world of a person.
