Dagon - meh.
The statement of whatever man - Kinda meh. I mean it did the job. Followed the exact same structure he has used in EVERY single other short I've read so... I'll sit and wait hoping for a lil spice in the structure even if that means sapping a lil spice from the story.

The Rats in the Walls - Really good ending ! I liked the ending quite a bit.

Herbert West - Re-animator ... lots of fun, no it's true, it's true... I mean AGAIN like every story so far it's like hmm this is interesting this is good then *BONK* Lovecraft's racist/sexist/any-ist views whack you over the head.
With that said, the narrator's utter DEVOTION to Herby didn't JUSt come from "fascination" or whatever EXCUSE Lovecraft used in the book.
Herby and the narrator were definitley bangin.

The Call of Chtulhu or whatever wasn't as good as a story as the colour out of space. The bare faced racism that pervaded it did not help.
