I’ve loved this series very much. It’s been a lot of fun. One thing I loved was that like many authors, Rivers didn’t feel the need to recap the last book in the next book. HOWEVER, Book 13 stepped away from this format and seems to updating even the simplest of story lines that you should know already if you’ve read the last 12 books. It is infuriating to me. I feel like it’s just filler.
