Got to page 100 and yelled come on!! This has managed to blend elements of Nigerian / British and the crime genre well. It’s in the little details and nuanced even if i was taking it at face value genre fiction. The characters are distinct from each other. It’s engaging despite clearly investigating q.serious crimes. nuanced as well about ritual killings esp in light of the background of two MCs and the victims.
