I love the double standard here. So you don't want the town bicycle, but if you HAPPEN to settle down with a "sweet woman who knows her place" then SHE gets the town bicycle cause you've slept with "a dozen or more women"

Okay...I don't need to read the rest of the book. The big baddie has been revealed and the reason for being the big baddie. The main couple has already gotten together. Someone kills the big baddie and they live happily ever after.
