I want to read these series but I would like to know what the problem is with the authors? I've seen so many reviews removed and I don't know why

Thank you for telling me, Susan.
I must confess that despite knowing that one of its authors is a bad person, I don't lose the desire to read the books...
I'll listen to you and I will try the unedited version.
I try to ignore the drama with authors as well and just read the books. Especially if I wasn't there for the fall out.In this case I'm having trouble separating the books from the author because I was there when this author was still an upcoming author and I was there for the fall out. I followed this person on Twitter for years and thought I kind of knew them, so it feels weird to read these books now.
But I still remember how much I liked the series when I first read these books, so I hope you enjoy!
I believe an alleged illness and donations were also involved with the whole drama, but I’m with Susan...this series is phenomenal. Super long, but worth the read. And it’s free.
I started reading it yesterday and i'm already into the story. I feel this shit is gonna hurt so bad :(
@ Susan 😂 I don't blame you at all. It was so much information to keep up with. @ Carolina It definitely will. Grab your Kleenex boxes and whatever makes you feel good (wine, chocolate, etc.) now because it gets intense. But there are feel good moments within the excruciating pain 😜 Glad you're enjoying it so far.

Santino was very active on social media and flirted with a lot of guys. He was a bi, devorced father and talked a lot about his hookups and stuff.
Turned out he was a married woman who used her husband as the 'face' of her made up author identity.
It was al very nasty. Very very nasty person who hurt a lot of people. Especially because they catfished lots of people by being this active on social media and by having online 'friendships' with people for years and years.
The books are still quite good, although I recommend the unedited versions. I tried the director's cut but thought it missed the spark of the originals.
