I won't be reading anymore of these because quite frankly, they weren't well written. I have no idea how they got 5 stars. I won't judge other people though. For me, it was not a good book. The cover is pretty though.

I like how she distinguished between a siren and a mermaid. For this world, a siren has magic in her song but a mermaid doesn't.

I do have to say this girl is a bit dense. It doesn't seem like she knows a lot about other magical creatures?
