This book is very entertaining and will for sure bring a smile and some laughs wether it’s you liking the events in this story or the characters development to the mundane jokes that caught me off guard, in my opinion the small character interactions really put a smile on my face as it gives me something to add/think about certain characters

When first reading this book the only thing that filled my mind was the mystery that started the book being what truly did happen to Jakes dad and that question will haunt me until I reach the end of this book

What came to my surprise after reading is not only did jake receive a kiss from what I assume is his crush which blew my mind, but the fact he is going quahogging by himself just for the sake of his family’s diner

2. I really don’t understand the part when...
I don’t understand this one character in the story as 1. I can’t barely remember his name and 2, I have no idea why he’s doing the thing he is doing and I’m not sure if he’s one of the bad guys in the story and in general needed a better explanation on that character

I began to think how much of a mystery Captain is. Me as the reader still doesn’t know his true motives. And in the beginning he also claimed he knew jakes father but so far it hasn’t gone anywhere. Captain is one of those characters that add more mystery to the story and has me dying to know more about him

I was surprised on how dark of a turn the story got with Gene being in a life or death situation. I loved how it was descriptive as I could picture it in my head and added to the surprise factor and the chapter was just filled with surprise after surprise
