So far I am really intrigued with where this book is going. I can certainly see the explicit tension between the different creatures, and the tension with their religions. When you start a book like this, you know that there is going to be a turning point, a point where the main character will see reality and I am so far interested in seeing how this plays out.

I am really enjoying this book, I had planned to try and make it last me the week but I am already sensing I will finish it tonight.
I think the fact that it can make you so uncomfortable and uneasy with the clear prejudice and racial hierarchy is a powerful mechanism within this book. It is within this that you can almost relate it to real events - something I think is startling and confronting to some.
