That is not good. The ropes on the Lhotes face have not been replaaced so they can't climb and their is a bad storm.. Also all three groups at base camp are fighting with each other over who will go and reaplace them. I wonder when the storm will let up and is the fighting beetween the groups going to become dangeruse.

Thankfuly after a while the ropes were fixed, but now Jon has completly asended and is heading down. Theres always some sort of problem. First a storm is brewing, second his oxygen is low and third he has to wait a while while a large group that is heading towards the summit passes him. What is goingto happen, is the storm going to hit before they can decend and will his oxygen last?

I had always thought that the only people climing the mountain but now Jon is saying that some people who had very little experience and were just climping for publicity are also climbing to the summit of everest. I wonder why they would even let climbers like that climb past basecamp?

What are the Lhotes? I have never heard about this book, I have heard about other books made by this author but not this boo. What do you think in going to be the outcome of the three groups fighting?

The Lhotes face is avery steep section of ice right above camp two. I think Jons group will prabably endup being the group to fix the lines because Hall(Jons guide) may be mad but he wants to climb Everst not just sit there fighting about it,
