Finished book one. I'd give it probably 3.75 stars so far. I personally would have appreciated a better TW for rape given how it is described in the story, and some parts were repetitive, but I loved both Beth and Nick and was eager to see what happened to both.

And this book helped me get iht of my slump. It's not my usual or preferred genre, but I stayed engaged over the two days or so it took me to read it.
