Wow—Jude’s story is so deep and affecting. Author Hanya is so skilled at creating character events that simmer so craftily and erupt so naturally. You just don’t feel she’s “creating” anything at all. Jude is a *deepest* character study—so so beautifully wrapped around surrounding characters’ lives. Really, no one is given short shrift. Can’t stop reading—I’m living in this world. Hypnotic.

So much emotion and description—and pain and happiness. This author is wise, warm—and so skillful at creating a world of real people who in so many ways you desperately want to know and have in your life (and are equally nervous you might not be able to handle it).
