I bought this book in Berlin yesterday in a beautiful bookshop. There was a girl standing right in front of the Murakami section and she was so sweet🥺💗
She recommended this book to me as it‘s a good introduction to Murakami‘s style of writing! (She also said this book in particular didn‘t include the typical Murakami style though)

I didn‘t like Naoko in the beginning - there was just something missing and not quite right about her. But now I can understand her character a lot better and I actually admire her honesty!
