This is so, so bad. Luke is a laughable attempt at a love interest- he calls her 'pretty girl', which I find disgusting and their romance is founded on nothing. Meanwhile, the only character that has any substance is James and is the only character that is likable. Also, the reveal of them having magic powers is so anticlimatic in a way that ruins the whole fantasy aspect.
