Why am I still reading this?! These characters are THE WORST. Seriously, they don't even like each other. Yet...I'm still here. I don't really know why. I loathe not finishing things but also some other sorcery must be at hand.

Okay...I don't think I can do this anymore. Every time I pick it up I somehow manage to dislike all of these characters even more. It's honestly quite a feat, I truly wouldn't have thought that possible at this point.

Sometimes it's therapeutic to be annoyed for easily definable reasons. Or at least that's how I rationalize some of the terrible books I manage to get through. Some terrible books are a drag, and some are weirdly enjoyable to hate.
