I learned some things about factors that caused the death, but it mostly confirmed what I had long thought were the reasons, so the title is a tad misleading, at least for people who are likely to choose the book. There's nothing particularly strange about the industry's death, although the failure to produce small displacement, reliable motorcycles before the Japanese did was something I hadn't considered before. I thought the CB750 was the biggest nail in the coffin, but it turns out that the sub-500cc Hondas, Suzukis etc. were at least as important.
