I'm interested to hear what you think of this one.

So far, it's the best book I've ever taken a year to read! It's really good—typical lyrical, insightful Eugenides—but for some reason I can lay it down and not go back for weeks. I think it's the ambivalence the main character has towards her/himself that causes it. Kind of an accomplishment in itself, that is.
