Book Addict > Status Update

I stumbled upon this book and it feels like I'm in the middle of a story i know nothing about. I'm assuming it's a spin off series which i didn't see noted anywhere. I prefer to see this info clearly stated. I'm gonna look into previous series to see if I'm interested enough to since i clearly have a fav genre. Sigh
