Gretel > Status Update

Currently reading Wolf Hall by Hilary Mantel, and my Nordic Crime book is Snow Angels by James Thompson. Boy, I'm only on page 58 and the brutality described is horrifying. And the murder rate and drunkenness in Finland, as mentioned in the book, are terrible. But others have said the Inspector Vaara novel is "masterful" (Michael Connelly), so I'll keep reading, just not bedtime reading.
