This book dives pretty deep in to each character's background, and there are a lot of characters. This is why it is taking me so long to finish it... Aside from the fact that it is a very long book to begin with. The action is finally picking up now though and I'm really getting in to it.

It takes quite the interesting read to keep me hooked enough to continue reading a book to the end... Although this is an extremely long book in an extremely long series, I am captivated, and determined to finish not only this novel, but all of the books in the Shannara series.
