I didn't know that this book was told in form of poems. It is not necessarily a bad thing, but it was surprising. I also wish that the author would clarify certain things (how old is Jackson?) but other than that I'd say it's going along smoothly.

I want to know how old Laren is. I want to know what Scott looks like. There are so many things I want to know, but the author just isn't telling me.

The book is getting sad, but the author isn't giving the emotion to the readers. The poems are told with little emotion, so while the protagonist seems to be sad, she doesn't seem that sad.
