This is terrific so far, not so much where the Van Appel girls are, but the telling of the story of the lives of those sisters & her own by the young Tikka.
She is a wonderful character, for me in the same vein as Scout.
This book is so much more than a mystery or thriller, don’t let those descriptions put you off.
