First chapter done and I'm already learning some fun facts - Mahler has the same birthday as me and saw Freud to talk about an incident where his father and mother had a fight when he was a small boy. Feeling scared/traumatised, he walked out of the house to hear very happy accordion music, and that incident is part of what Mahler & Freud attributed his dark vs light musical composition style to!
