I'm tired of Emmi's downer attitude and snappiness. Just not warming to her character at all. I'm also tired of him calling her "Sugar" so much...it's not sounding like an endearment, just sounds like something he would call any women so that he doesn't need to remember their name. This story feels a bit same ol', same ol' to me. Perhaps I need more sleep?
